Forecast Discussion:
A front will move north and south/back and forth across northern New England over the next 3 days, providing occasional rain and some thunderstorms, as well as a split (and challenging temp forecast). Overnight tonight looks mainly dry with areas of fog, temps in the 50s.
By Tuesday, expect occasional rain showers and a few downpours and isolated thunderstorms. Temps will likely stay in the mid-upper 60s north, but low-mid 70s south and major valleys. A push of warmth will come in Wednesday with temperatures reaching into the 80s. Then a cold front will swing through Thursday and this will likely cause more rain and thunderstorms. Keep an eye on Thursday for any stronger thunderstorms that could develop.
The Memorial Day weekend will be cooler and drier, very pleasant.
