A Vermont lawmaker came up with an interesting way to tie all the proposed taxes and basketball.
It has to do with "March Madness."
Each lawmaker received a bracket Friday.
It features 32 taxes that might be imposed, seeded one-through eight, based on the likelihood of passing.
The lawmaker that created it hopes this will open some people's eyes.
"I just think it's time to say no and it's time to start looking at spending and trying to live within our means," said Vermont State Rep. Heidi Scheuermann.
While you can fill in the bracket, Rep. Scheuermann says she doesn't expect lawmakers to fill it out and has no plans to collect them.
