BOLTON VALLEY, Vt. -

Two boys were found after becoming lost skiing at the Bolton Valley Ski Resort Tuesday.

Vermont State Police say Bolton Valley Ski Patrol notified them that two skiers, Cecil Freeman, 16, of Berlin Vt., and Matthew Smith, 16, of East Montpelier, Vt., were unaccounted for.

The two boys contacted Smith's mother to let her know they went off the trail. Bolton Valley Ski Patrollers then checked for them between Vista and Wilderness Peaks, the area they were initially believed to be at, without success.

Around 7:20 p.m., police say, they located the two boys in a large area of wilderness between Bolton Valley Ski Resort and Waterbury Reservoir after they called 911.

Both boys were located a short time later and are in good health and uninjured.
