If you tried to call Twin City Taxi, for a safe ride home on St. Patrick's Day or maybe Tuesday during the storm, you were out of luck.
The cab service is closed.
Here's the voice message many of you heard:
"We announce today that we are no longer in business. The decision to close was not made by us, but rather imposed on us by the Vermont state department of labor."
The Labor Department said it closed on March 13 and we know why.
An attorney for the department says a stop work order was issued because Twin City didn't have workers comp insurance.
