PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -
New York State Police make another meth arrest in Plattsburgh, N.Y. on Monday.
Police say they stopped a 2002 Mercury Cougar with individuals suspected of being involved in a petit larceny at Walmart in Plattsburgh earlier in the day. After searching through the vehicle they found items stolen from Walmart and precursors for manufacturing methamphetamine.
Police arrested the driver, Nicholas Gero, 20, of Altona, N.Y., and one of the passengers, Raymond Seguin, 29, of Saranac Lake, N.Y., for unlawful manufacturing methamphetamine, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Another passenger, Danielle Page, 24, of Morrisonville, N.Y. was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Kenneth Laundry, 47, of Plattsburgh, N.Y., who was also a passenger, was arrested for unlawfully manufacturing methamphetamine.
Police say Gero, Seguin, and Page were arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court and were committed to the Clinton County Jail on $50,000 cash/ $100,000 bond. Laundry was also arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court and was committed to the Clinton County Jail with no bail due to prior felony convictions.
Further charges for the theft at Walmart are pending for Gero and Seguin.
