BRATTLEBORO, Vt. -
A jackknifed tractor trailer on Vermont Route 9 just west of the Brattleboro State Police Barracks has been cleared.
Police say both the east and westbound lanes have been reopened.
The road was closed in both directions for about an hour.
Police are urging tractor trailer units not to use Vermont Route 9 and to take alternate routes including Interstate 91 to Interstate 90 in Massachusetts due to
road conditions on the mountain.
