WESTFIELD, Mass. -
The 104th Fighter Wing of the Massachusetts Air Guard will be training in some regions in southern Vermont and New Hampshire during the daylight hours on Wednesday.
A press release says they will be practicing scrambles with intercept missions. They will be using F-15s and will practice escorting non-military aircraft to a regional airport.
Some of the exercises include airspace restriction violations, hijackings and responding to unknown aircraft.
The following communities in Vermont and New Hampshire may experience increased aircraft activity during this exercise: Keene, N.H., Claremont, N.H., Rutland, Vt., Wells, Vt., Granville, Vt., Bennington, Vt., Morse State Airport, Vt., Hoosick Falls, Vt., Mount Snow, Vt., West Dover, Vt., Manchester, Vt., Dorset, Vt., Pawlet, Vt.
