LYNDON, Vt. -
The Plattsburgh bureau chief at WCAX-TV Channel 3 has been placed on indefinite leave.
Matt Henson, 30, was arrested early Friday morning in Lyndon, Vermont.
Police say Henson touched a woman under her clothes two times, without her consent, at the Packing House Bar. Police say as the woman tried to leave the bar Henson followed her and pinned her against a wall. Police say until she was able to get away and get help from the bouncers.
Lyndon police say Henson's blood-alcohol-level was twice the legal limit.
Henson is charged with lewd and lascivious, and disorderly conduct.
We reached out to Channel 3 News Director Anson Tebbetts who tells us Henson will not be working on air or behind the scenes until the allegations unfold.
Henson's court date is set for April 22nd.
