Brief description of duties & responsibilities:

1. Produce 1.5 hours of news each weekend day.
2. Heavy emphasis on an aggressive, fast-paced "Voice of the People" format.
3. Candidate must be able to multi-task.
4. Help select daily story assignments.
5. Write and stack stories.
6. Approve scripts.
7. Post to the website and other eMedia platforms.
8. Candidate will be Videojournalist three days a week.
9. Shoot, write, and edit stories.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Work experience and education required for position:

1. College Degree
2. Previous experience in a competitive market preferred.
3. Knowledge of iNews, Panasonic P2 HD cameras and non-linear editing helpful.
