MAIDSTONE, Vt. -
A Vermont man faces several drug charges after police find marijuana, heroin, and hundreds of pills while searching his house.
The Essex County Sheriff's Department, along with a Vermont State Police canine unit executed a search warrant at 60-year-old William McNeely's home in Maidstone, Vermont last week.
They found 11 ounces of marijuana, four packets of heroin, 450 oxycodone pills, 35 pills of a generic drug of Xanax, and several thousand dollars in cash.
McNeely has been cited to appear in Essex County Criminal Court in May.
As the investigation continues, police say, more charges could result.
