Meeting Planned to Address Parking Issues at VT State House Tuesday

MONTPELIER, Vt. -

A meeting is being held Tuesday to address parking issues at the Vermont State House.

The Vermont State Employee's Association is urging participation in this parking town hall where they'll decide on a short term fix for the lack of parking in Montpelier, Vt.

VSEA's President John Reese says long term solutions will also be offered, but those will take time and money.

In the mean time, they're considering ideas like moving fleet vehicles and offering incentives to state employees who use other forms of transportation.

That meeting takes place from noon to 1 p.m. inside the House Chambers.
