UVM men's basketball team opened the America East tournament Saturday against the University of New Hampshire.

The game didn't start well for the Catamounts, as they never led in the first half.

At the break UNH was up 6.

But the second half was all Vermont.

The catamounts ended up pounding New Hampshire 61-42.

Head coach John Becker says that if he team moves the way it played in the second half Friday, he'll be happy with any result, but added that they'll be pretty tough to beat.

Semi-final is set, UVM takes on UMBC Sunday night at 5.
