BURLINGTON, Vt. -
A 5-year-old child was hit by a car in Burlington, Vt. Wednesday.
It happened at the corner of South Winooksi Ave and College Street.
The driver of the car left the scene of the accident and was found a short time later at the City Market parking lot.
As of now, he's not been charged.
Police say he's being cooperative as the incident is investigated.
The little girl was taken to Fletcher Allen where she was treated for minor injuries.
