BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Burlington Police make an arrest in an attempted robbery that went down in late December at Dot's Market on Archibald Street.

Following their investigation and with help from the Vermont Crime Lab, police arrested 33-year-old George Casey, of Rutland, Vt., on assault and robbery charges.

They also linked him to a robbery at the Willard Street Market on Christmas Eve.

In both cases, police say, he wore a plastic bag over one of his hands and claimed he had a weapon.

Casey is being held at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility on $25,000 bail.
