WILLISTON, Vt. -
After receiving dozens of phone calls from the public on Tuesday, police in Williston were able to identify the woman in the surveillance images.
Police say they have arrested and charged 30-year-old Dawn Kivela, also known as Dawn Gaboriault, of Burlington, with grand larceny.
Police say she took a purse that was left unattended at used clothing Once Upon a Child, Monday.
Kivela hid the purse under her child's blanket, according to police.
On Tuesday, police said they recovered the purse and many of its contents at a dumpster located at Champlain Farms in South Burlington.
