People can bid on U.S. Marshals Service seized vehicles including a replica 1966 Ford Cobra Shelby and a 2007 Cadillac Escalade.
A public auction will be held Saturday, March 2nd at 10:00am. It's taking place at Thomas Hirchak Company at 131 Dorset Lane in Williston, Vermont.
The U.S. Marshals say the vehicles were taken during drug raids in Vermont in 2011 and 2012. Law enforcement says they can be taken and can be put up for sale because the vehicles were originally bought with drug profits or used during illegal drug deals.
Among the cars up for auction: a replica 1966 Ford Cobra Shelby, 1966 Chevy Malibu, 1988 Chevy Corvette, 2011 Dodge Ram Pickup with 545 miles, 2007 Cadillac Escalade, 2007 Dodge Nitro, 2006 Chevy Silverado, 2006 Ski-Doo MXZ 800 w/Trailer, 2003 Ford Expedition & 1989 Ford Mustang.
The profit from the auction will go back to law enforcement including the police organizations which were involved in the drugs raids.
