BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Police are investigating a robbery in the area of North street and Lafountain street Wednesday night.
Police say a someone approached a 27-year-old male, from Burlington, Vt., displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took a large sum of money and marijuana that was recently purchased.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5'9" to 5'10" tall, and thin build. He was wearing a red puffy jacket, black jeans, black boots and red Washington Redskins hat.
No one was injured from the robbery.
Police say the suspect was last seen running east on North street from Lafountain street.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Burlington Police Department at (802)-658-2704 or Crimestoppers at 864-6666.
