WINOOSKI, Vt. -
A man who escaped from the Vermont Department of Corrections will be arraigned Friday.
Police say they arrested Jason P. Cannon, 30, of Winooski, Vt., for approximately 22 commercial burglaries in December 2012 across Chittenden and Franklin counties.
Cannon targeted closed businesses and would forcefully enter the businesses seeking cash and other valuables.
Police say they arrested Cannon on December 10, 2012 and he has been held by corrections since then.
Cannon will be arraigned in Vermont Superior Court.
