HANCOCK, Vt. -

Three people were indicted Tuesday for manufacturing methamphetamine in Hancock, Vt.

Police say Michael Wood, 45, Steven Arnold, 20, both of Hancock, Vt., pleaded not guilty in U.S. District Court for charges of conspiracy to manufacture and distribute 5 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Court documents indicated that the Vermont Drug Task Force (VDTF) made controlled purchases of methamphetamine from each of the men in November 2012.

On November 20, 2012, police say, they executed a search warrant and arrested Wood and Arnold. Both men have been detained since their arrests.

If convicted, Wood and Arnold face between 5 and 40 years imprisonment.

Police say in a separate matter, Leslie Eramo, 21, formerly of Hancock, Vt., pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine during fall 2012. If convicted Eramo faces up to 20 years imprisonment.
