WOODFORD, Vt. -
A teen crashed his car Sunday on Vermont Route 9 in Woodford, Vt. after falling asleep at the wheel.
Police say Jordan Mantello, 17, of Troy, N.Y., was driving a 2003 Cadillac Deville west when he crossed over into oncoming traffic and crashed into 35-year-old Jollene Mahon's 2000 Subaru Legacy. Mahon spun around several times before colliding with another vehicle, a 2008 Nissan truck, driven by Richard Setzer, 28, of Bennington, Vt.
Mahon was taken to Southern Vermont Medical Center with a possible neck injury. Mantello and two of his passengers were also taken to Southern Vermont Medical Center for evaluation.
Police say all the vehicles received significant damage from the crash and were all towed from the scene.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash and reported that road conditions were icy.
