MONTPELIER, Vt. -
Vermont lawmakers nominated a new adjutant general at the State House Thursday.
FOX44 and ABC22 reporter Nick Natario says Vermont Air National Guard Brigadier Gen. Steven Cray was nominated by an overwhelming majority.
His focus is getting the F-35's to South Burlington and he's also working with the guard to deal with sequestration, if it happens next week.
Three people were nominated for the position, although 4 names were on the ballot.
Natario will have more on this story at 6,7 on ABC22 and 10 p.m. on FOX44.
