GRAND ISLE, Vt. -

The woman accused of welfare fraud didn't show up for her court appearance Thursday.

FOX44 and ABC22 reported back in January  that 32-year-old Jennifer Jarvis, of Alburgh, Vt., was arrested and charged on January 8 with one count of welfare fraud.

She's accused of receiving state benefits from Reach Up and 3SquaresVt since October 2012. Police say Jarvis was working during this time and she failed to notify the Economic Services Division. She received $3,484 in benefits from October 2012 to the present.

Jarvis was scheduled to appear in Grand isle District Court Thursday morning.
