Two People Arrested After Police Search Home on North Street in Burlington, VT

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Police arrested two people after executing a search warrant on North Street in Burlington, Vt. Thursday morning.

Police say 40-year-old Julie Herron, aka Julie Louko, aka Julie Landry, of Burlington, Vt., was arrested on a felony charge for the sale of heroin. Michael Cooke, 22, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was also arrested for felony possession of crack cocaine and possession of marijuana.

Police say they recovered 8.5 grams of crack cocaine along with 1.8 ounces of marijuana from Cooke.

Other drug paraphernalia was also found inside the residence.

Agents from the FBI and U.S. Marshall's Service assisted in the execution of the search warrant.

Herron and Cooke are being arraigned Thursday afternoon in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division.
