Trish Halpin, Editor-in-Chief, and Justine Southall, Publishing Director, gave in-depth presentations on the Marie Claire brand and platforms, with sage advice for PRs on how to increase the chances of getting their content in front of readers both on and offline. A lively and interactive Q&A with the audience was followed by drinks, nibbles and networking in the glorious ballroom.
The goal of Meet the Media is to enable communications professionals to hear from leading media organisations on how their respective companies work, providing insight into their specialist areas, giving advice on achieving coverage and informing them on effective targeting of journalists within their sector and how to build a mutually beneficial relationship.
The next Meet the Media will be held in London in the spring, details to be announced soon. Further events are planned throughout 2013 in Bangalore, Paris and Milan.
