BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Police arrested an employee of Kinney Drugs for stealing regulated drugs from the pharmacy over the past 2 years.
According to a press release, 42-year-old Kathrine E. Brosseau-Norton, of Essex Junction, Vt., is accused of stealing drugs including Hydrocodone, Suboxone, and Zolpidem and other store merchandise from the Kinney Drugs located at 308 Shelburne Road in Burlington, Vt.
Police say Brosseau-Norton was in possession of some of the stolen drugs.
A total of 4,184 tablets were reported missing from January 1, 2011 until February 8, 2013. Retail value of the tablets is estimated at $3,885.37.
Brosseau-Norton is scheduled to appear on April 9, 2013 in Chittenden County Criminal Court to answer to the charges of Prescription Fraud, Possession of Regulated Drugs, Illegal Dispensing of Regulated Drugs, and Retail Theft.
