VT Teen Trains 500th Person in Hands-Only CPR

Posted: Updated:

A Williston teen has reached a major milestone in his mission to train hands-only CPR.

Tommy Watson trained his 500th person at Boston's Go Red for Women luncheon Wednesday.

Fittingly, luckly number 500 is a heart attack survivor, Deidre Lincoln.

Tommy has certainly come a long way, his 8th grade goal was training 100 people, including Governor Peter Shumlin.

He'll be on hand Thursday at Burlington's Go Red for Women uncheon at the Sheraton.

Lauren Maloney will proudly co-emcee the event for the 5th year in a row.
