ENOSBURG, Vt. -
With the help of an unidentified informant, a man was arrested late Monday for escaping from the Corrections Field Supervision Unit.
Police say when 21-year-old Storm Choiniere was arrested he gave them a false name and birthday to avoid being arrested.
He had been on escape for approximately a
month.
Choiniere was originally arrested for simple assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest, burglary of an occupied dwelling, and violation of conditions and possession of stolen property.
He is being lodged at the Northwest Correctional Facility and is being held without bail.
