NH Considering Law to Prevent Employers From Asking For Social Media Login Information

New Hampshire could join the states banning employers from asking job applicants and employees for their social media account information.

The AP reports that the New Hampshire House's Labor Committee is holding a hearing on a bill Tuesday that would prohibit an employer from requiring social media usernames and passwords.

Several states have passed legislation preventing employers from accessing social media accounts.
