LEBANON, N.H. -

An apartment fire at 81 Seminary Hill in Lebanon, N.H. has displaced 24 families.

According to a press release, families are being transported to the Kilton Library in West Lebanon to meet members of the Vermont and New Hampshire Upper Valley American Red Cross.

No known injuries were reported.

According to a fire official with the Lebanon Fire Department, the three-story apartment building had at least 12 units.

The fire was quickly extinguished, but the building suffered minor smoke and water damage. Fire officials say due to the extensive damage to the front stairwell all 24 tenants have been displaced until repairs could be made.

The fire was called in around 9 a.m. Monday morning.

Fire investigators are at the scene trying to determine the cause.
