FEMA is working with states and the National Weather Service (NWS) to prepare Friday's winter storm across the Northeast.
According to a press release, FEMA is working directly with state partners at state emergency operations centers in the Northeast states including Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York (both in Albany and New York City), Rhode Island, and Vermont.
If necessary, FEMA has staff ready to support an ongoing disaster recovery effort in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
