Burlington Vermont Issues Winter Parking Ban For Friday Night Into Saturday

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Burlington Police say the city of Burlington has declared a parking ban starting at 10 p.m. Friday until 7:00 a.m. Saturday in residential areas. The ban goes from 12 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. in the business area.

Vehicles must be removed from all city streets and city owned surface parking lots. A press release says drivers can park in any city owned parking garage from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. free of charge. Officials are asking drivers avoid parking on the top (roof) floor.

Vehicles left on a street is subject to a $100 ticket and having the car towed to another location.
