Today, VTrans has been salting, and using brine.
Expect a skeleton crew after midnight to about 3 AM in the morning.
Sometimes the prep work is key to how the rest of the day pans out.
"So throughout the storm we're going to be watching that surface to see - maintain some sort of blackness if you will to it so that we don't have a lot of build up," VTrans manager David Blackmore said.
VTrans has 9 plow districts in Vermont and 30 to 35 plows will be out during peak hours in each district.
