SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
South Burlington has already named an interim City Manager, after Sandy Miller was fired earlier this week.
Deputy City Manager Bob Rusten has been appointed to the position.
City Council Chair Rosanne Greco said a salary for the new city manager will be determined when the negotiation process starts.
They've received three applications already but they plan to keep searching for a while.
"If the process goes as last time I would assume by the end of the year I would hope maybe even sooner we would have a full time city manager," Greco said.
The city plans for Rusten to step into the interim position within a month.
