MILTON, Vt. -
Police responded to a vehicle that crashed into a business in Milton, Vt. Monday night.
Police say 24-year-old James Carleton, of Milton, Vt. crashed into the front of the Hair and Nail Express located at 174 US Route 7 south.
He suffered non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash. He was transported to Fletcher Allen Health Care for evaluation and treatment.
Carleton was the only one in the vehicle and there were no other injuries from the crash.
The vehicle is considered a total loss and there was extensive damage to the store front.
Police say they are still investigating and believe alcohol, drugs and speed to be factors in the crash.
Charges haven't been filed and police are waiting for blood test results.
