RUTLAND, Vt. -
Rutland, Vt. police are investigating a violent attack Saturday afternoon.
Police say 4 or 5 robbers broke into a home on Maple Street with 3 people inside at the time.
They kicked open the door and threw in a canister of pepper spray.
Police say the robbers then hit or pistol whipped tow of the victims in the head.
They demanded drugs and money before leaving through the front door.
No one has been arrested, but police say, some of the victims identified the robbers by name.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Rutland City Police Department.
