SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
(AP) - A South Burlington official says City Manager Sanford "Sandy" Miller has been placed on administrative leave.
City Council Chairwoman Rosanne Greco tells the Burlington Free Press that she expects the matter will be discussed at Monday's council meeting. Greco did not give a reason for Miller's leave and said no formal decision on his future has been made.
Miller previously was city manager in Milton but left in 2009 after a falling out with the selectboard over contract negotiations.
Miller succeeded Chuck Hafter in South Burlington. A lawsuit by Hafter claiming Miller had defamed him was settled last July.
