Medical Examiner Releases the Cause of Death in the Littleton, NH Homicide

LITTLETON, N.H. -

The medical examiner in New Hampshire releases Dr. Catherine "Kitty" Houghton's cause of death.

A press release says that 70-year-old Dr. Houghton's death was the result of a stab wound to the neck. They ruled her death a homicide.

Rodney Hill, 37, of West Danville, Vt., is accused of stabbing Dr. Houghton in the neck and torso Monday night at the Hampton Inn in Littleton, N.H. He was arraigned in Littleton District Court on Tuesday.

Hill is being held without bail at the Grafton County House of Corrections. His next court appearance in court is on February 5.

Police say they are still investigating the homicide.
