The FBI has ended its investigation into the biggest heist in Vermont history, the $1.9 million armored car company theft in Rutland, Vt.
A single man, with a gun, overpowered two guards at Berkshire Armored Car in Rutland 11 years ago.
The gunman handcuffed and tied up both men before taking bags of money and making a getaway in a dark van.
Now the FBI says the case is closed because the statue of limitations for the crimes has passed.
