Lost New Hampshire hikers may soon have to pay a fee for help.
According to the Associated Press, the fees would help the search and rescue fund get out of debt.
The exception would be anyone who has a hunting, fishing or other outdoor license or anyone who buys a hike safe card.
A legislative hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
