ISLAND POND, Vt. -

An Island Pond, Vt. man is sentenced to 100 months for manufacturing methamphetamine.

A press release says 37-year-old Carl Coker was sentenced to 100 months for conspiracy to manufacture five grams or more of methamphetamine.

Coker was ordered to serve 4 years supervised release after his release. He was one of 13 Northeast Kingdom residents indicted by a federal grand jury for methamphetamine-related crimes.

The press release says Coker began manufacturing methamphetamine in Vermont after his April 2011 move from Alabama, where he had been convicted for distribution of methamphetamine.

Coker was arrested in November 2011.
