Man Pleads Not Guilty to Danville, Vt. Officer Involved Shooting Incident Back in September

DANVILLE, Vt. -

A St. Johnsbury, Vt. man finally answered to charges stemming from an incident in Danville, Vt. on September 18.

Police say 36-year-old William Mahoney was shot by a state trooper after making threatening moves to him.

Officials say Mahoney stole a vehicle and hid in a school bus.

He pleaded not guilty Monday to a laundry list of charges including aggravated operation and simple assault on an officer.

Mahoney's bail was set at $50,000.
