BARRE, Vt. -
A grandfather in Barre, Vt. is accused of being drunk and driving his grandchildren to school Thursday morning.
Police say 57-year-old Terrence Lacroix drove his grandchildren to school after they missed the bus. Lacroix was 3.5 times over the legal limit and had a BAC level of 0.287.
Police responded to a call of an erratic driver that was driving all over the road. Police say Lacroix walked the 2 young children into the school.
Lacroix was issued a citation from DWI and cruelty to children. He will appear in court on February 14.
