NY Attorney General's Office Gets More Than $300 Million in Medicaid Fraud Case

ALBANY, N.Y. -

New York's Attorney General says his office got more than $300 million from a medicaid fraud and abuse case.

That includes more than $140 million the state received as part of the national Glaxo-Smith-Kline settlement.

The other fraud, involved a black market HIV drug program which billed medicaid close to $160 million.

The amount of money the state got back is over the $220 million budget for 2013.
