On a cold sunny day President Obama is sworn in for his second term Monday.
There was a lot of excitement from the half a million people who crowded into D.C. packed like sardines on the national mall, waving flags all wanting to be a part of history.
On this, the 57th inauguration, New York Senator Chuck Schumer headed the congressional committee, overseeing the ceremony. Which means even he gets a toast from the vice president.
And with that, comes a whole host of northeast tradition. First the 2013 Inaugural Luncheon, starting off with the lobster and New England clam chowder and washing it down with an array of New York wines. For dessert, Hudson Valley apple pie and cheese from Cooperstown.
But the festivities, wouldn't be complete without the parade.

And the Norwich University marching band made a debut in front of the nation as they proudly played for the hundreds of thousands of onlookers.
