Police Made An Arrest Friday in the White River Junction, Vt. Bank Robbery

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. -

Police made an arrest Friday in the White River Junction, Vt. bank robbery.

According to police, 50-year-old John Fenley, of Hartford, Vt., is accused of robbing the People's United Bank Thursday. On the same day, Fenley also tried to rob the Mascoma Savings Bank.  

During the investigation, police say, several hundred dollars of stolen money was taken from his possession. They also found clothing that matched the surveillance photos.

Fenley is currently being held on $100,000 bail. He is due in court on Tuesday.

Police say additional arrests may be made.
