HYDE PARK, Vt. -

A Vermont man who was convicted for murder twice then had those convictions reversed returns to court.

62-year-old Dennis Tribble faces first degree murder in the September 2000 shooting of 43-year-old Michael Borello.

Police say Tribble, who claims he acted in self defense, shot Borello several times. Borello was unarmed.

The Vermont Supreme Court overturned this conviction saying the judge made several errors.

Tribble said in court Wednesday he would represent himself in this upcoming arraignment.
