1.16.13 A well forecast snowfall - FOX44 - Burlington / Plattsburgh News, Weather & Sports

Let me begin by saying, I am NOT tooting any horns, here. BUT, I do have to do some verification of our SkyTracker forecasts, and the results of Wednesday snow was pretty much spot on. Timing and snow totals were very well forecast since Monday, giving a good 1.5-2 day lead time on this snowfall.

The photo on the left (top) shows the snowfall forecast that I aired on ABC22/Fox44 News on Tuesday evening. I'll let you be the judge. How'd we do?

For me to judge, I'd say that's a forecast "hit". The other photos on the left (lower) are some of YOUR snow reports, as you passed along on our Facebook page.  (Thanks for those!)
