MASSENA, N.Y. -
The body of a missing Massena, N.Y. man has been found in the Grasse River Wednesday.
New York State Police say 43-year-old John Favreau was driving his snowmobile on the ice and fell through. Favreau was about 50 yards from the shore and was going ice fishing.
Police say the ice in that location varied from 2 to 4 inches thick and the water was about 18 feet deep.
An autopsy is being conducted later Wednesday.
