NEWPORT CITY, Vt. -
Newport City Police are investigating a car that crashed into a house on Coventry Street around 9 p.m. Monday night.
Police say the Newport City Fire had to use the jaws of life to extricate the driver 44-year-old Francis Warner and front passenger Joshua Warner, 20, from the car.
Francis, Joshua and rear passenger Frank Warner, 49, were transported to the North Country Hospital. No word on their injuries or conditions.
Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
