BERLIN, Vt. -
The Town of Berlin is looking into potential parking problems near the Berlin Pond.
The pond used to be off limits until the Vermont Supreme Court opened it up to people a year ago.
Now neighbors are complaining so many people are parking on the road around the pond that it could be difficult for emergency responders to pass.
Town leaders are figuring out what to do.
"It's balancing that issue of the concerns that the immediate neighbors have versus other folks in Berlin and outside Berlin that want to access the pond," says Jeff Schulz, Berlin Town Administrator.
They are also putting together a committee to find a long-term solution to figure out how people can use the pond.
